Internationals: Four Reds feature in Sunday's World Cup qualifiers – Liverpool FC

Four Liverpool players featured in 2022 World Cup qualifying fixtures on Sunday.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson helped England maintain their perfect record in Group I of the European preliminaries with a 4-0 win over Andorra.
Both Reds started and completed the tie at Wembley, with Henderson wearing the captain’s armband and Alexander-Arnold beginning in a midfield role.
Goals from Jesse Lingard (two), Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka gave Gareth Southgate’s side the victory, their fifth in succession in the section.

Elsewhere, Kostas Tsimikas featured for 88 minutes of Greece’s 1-1 draw at Kosovo, a stoppage-time concession leaving his country fourth in Group B.
Mohamed Salah also had to settle for a draw as he skippered Egypt in their latest match of the African qualifiers – a 1-1 deadlock against Gabon.
The Liverpool forward played the whole game in Franceville, where a last-minute equaliser was enough to lift Egypt to the top of Group F.
Academy defender Conor Bradley, meanwhile, gained his second senior international cap as he came on as a 63rd-minute substitute in Northern Ireland’s 1-0 friendly victory versus Estonia.
